Following continued growth across 2011/12, ISC has been awarded with Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) status from the industry's government regulator, the Security Industry Authority (SIA). The award recognises the professionalism and high quality procedures we have developed over the past 14 years.
"For many years ISC has adopted the principals required by the ACS," says Amanda Randall, ISC's Quality Manager. "To have this corroborated by an independent assessment body will benefit our internal development and increase business opportunities."
The voluntary SIA scheme measures 89 criteria within an organisation, including strategy, processes, commercial relationship management, resources, financial management, HR procedures, leadership and conformity to Security Industry British Standards. ISC passed its assessment on all these indicators and in many cases considerably exceeded requirements.
"Achieving ACS accreditation demonstrates that ISC is committed to further enhancing its service to clients and staff alike," says ISC Managing Director, Pat Carr. "Alongside our Gold award from the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) and silver certification from sustainability consultants, Carbon Smart, this achievement cements ISC as an organisation committed to providing professional, quality-led and environmentally-conscious security services.
